Tucked away near the majestic Arbel Cliffs and the serene Sea of Galilee, our simple yet comfortable units offer all the essentials for a relaxing stay, including kitchenettes and jacuzzis. We offer a villa divided into 3 types of private units, a total of 7 units, also suitable for family events for up to 35 guests.

One bedroom with balcony

4 units of about 40 sq m, each with a bedroom with a large double bed, a balcony overlooking the Galilee mountains, a spacious living room that can sleep 2 more guests on sofas, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a rain shower and jacuzzi. Some rooms have stairs up to the entrance. Facilities: two flat-screen TVs, cable channels, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave, dining area, electric kettle, gas stove and kitchen utensils.

Crusty bread with coarse salt and nigella, butter, Greek salad with sumac and za'atar, regional cheese plate, our neighbor's olives, homemade cured salmon with dill, labneh with local olive oil, cream cheese, yogurt with homemade granola, fresh fruit and local honey, avocado. Choice of: cheese-stuffed omelet / shakshuka. Freshly squeezed citrus juice.

Perfect place to stay overlooking the Sea of Galilee – This guest house has it all: great cooking by master chef, relaxed friendliness of the Arbel family, jacuzzi inside and heated pool outside (even in winter !!!), plus the superb location near the Arbel cliff and right at the ancient Arbel synagogue (a 2 minute walk from the house!). The Arbel moshav is small and idyllic, and ugly Tiberias is nowhere in sight! Absolutely sleep here and not in Tiberias, for goodness sake !!! The rooms are lovely. Disliked · We only booked for one night. Big mistake !!!! Book several nights here or you will really regret it.

Q&A

Are the meals kosher?

There is no rabbinical supervision, but we have separate plates and cutlery for meat and dairy. We have one sink for all types of cooking.

Can we have meals if we're not staying at Arbel Guest House?

At this time, only guests staying at Arbel Guest House can enjoy our meals.

Is breakfast included?

When booking through booking sites, breakfast is not included. It costs 75 NIS per person over age 12 and 45 NIS for ages 2–12.
Our generous breakfast includes shakshuka or omelets, hard cheeses, fruit salad, vegetable salad, pastries and more.

Description of the swimming pool?

The pool is open all year round – heated and covered in winter. Maximum depth 1.2 m, area 55 sq m. The pool is fenced and the gate is locked at night. Children only under parent supervision.

What time are meals served?

Breakfast: served between 8:00 and 9:30.
Dinner: by advance booking, usually served between 18:00 and 19:00.
Dishes must be ordered a few hours in advance.

Is it possible to get there by public transport?

There are about 6 buses a day from Tiberias (Superbus line 42, a 15-minute drive). A taxi from Tiberias usually costs 50–60 NIS. We recommend renting a car, as buses in the north are infrequent.

Is there a synagogue?

Yes, there is a synagogue with a minyan, a 5-minute walk from the guest house.

What can vegetarians, vegans and gluten-sensitive guests eat?

The stews and goulash soup may contain gluten; most other dishes are suitable for gluten-sensitive guests. Contact us and we'll prepare gluten-free bread for you and point you to suitable dishes. Most dinner dishes contain meat, but you can order antipasti, sweet potato soup and salads. Vegetarians who eat fish also have fish dishes.

What's in the kitchen and barbecue area?

The kitchen in the rooms has: home refrigerator, microwave, dining area, electric kettle, cutlery, pot, cutting board
The barbecue area has a work desk with a sink, no coals.
